Yep - go with the duel G5. You'll notice the speed difference of the duel processor immediately. I've got a duel G4 at home and blows the doors of the single processor POS I use at work. If you're doing music recording and editing you're gonna need all the horsepower you can get.

I'd agree with the duel G5; you're going to need that processing power.

    Cool

    Dual G5.

iMacs are only good for surfing the web. If you are going to do real work on a Mac stick to the G5s and don't get suckered into the cutesy all-in-one iMac.

Ya know you can put 8 gigs of ram in a G5 right? Add the dual processor and you've got one fast fucking machine... it might even mix your music for you.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">thanx...that's what i was leaning towards.....but i have to admit...i used to have a full blown studio and for the music i do....mostly remixes....my lil' imac handles it pretty damn well....i have the money reserved for the dual but the price difference is tremendous.....i mean from 2grand for the imac to about 4-5 grand for the dual with a nice size flat screen monitor....
